What FAITH can do. February 23, 2015
I'm reading in Mark right now. Chapter 3 begins with the story of the man with the withered hand. Mark 3:5 "...he saith unto the man, stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other."
THAT is what faith and obedience looks like.
I need that this morning. I needed to be reminded how great my God is. How there is nothing impossible for Him. There is nothing He does not see. There is nothing going on that He doesn't know.
I have a heavy heart. I am struggling with something pertaining to my daughter and the rejection she is getting from a particular person, because I am her mom. And my heart is grieved. It hurts. And this morning the Lord blessed me through social media to remember to lean NOT on my own understanding.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil
Whether it is a physical disability or a heart disability, He knows. And His healing may not come in our time and we may need know or understand why. But the why is not what's important.
Cry out to Daddy. You never know what He has waiting for you, when you just listen faithfully and obey!
