The best gift a friend can give is to be there for you, committed to fight for your joy, to hold your hand in battle and to help keep your focus on & bring you closer to Jesus. It's so hard to find these true friendships too. Even in our church groups it seems that people just want to get together for fun, food and casual conversations. Which is great! Fellowship is wonderful!! But, for the times that are real. The times where we are raw. When we are down to our last moments of being able to hold it all together...this is when you find your real friend. Life is messy. Your friend will see past that. Your life being lifted higher, eased of pain in some way, brought closer to The King is what they want for you. We need to remember as a family of believers that our connections are deeper than blood in our veins. We are connected by blood spilt on a cross. We have been saved by the perfect friend, Jesus. He had to save us before we could ever begin to love some one like He does! He gave the ultimate example of how to to be a good friend. No one is okay on their own. We all need blood bought brothers and sisters who are willing to be friends who will bear burdens for each other. Through the moments of pain and heavy affliction, physical health battles and healing of broken souls, know that Jesus has placed special friends who will be there battling by your side.
Best friends make life better.

I don't ever want to be kinda following around Jesus & not be connected with Him. I don't want to just talk about Him. I want to reflect Him. I don't want to just look at Him, I want to be in awe of His Glory! I don't want to just read His words in the Bible. I want them to become part of who I am. I don't want to be like those people in the Bible that were in His presence but unaffected. I AM CHANGED BY HIS BLOOD!!
My Savior came, took my disgusting sins upon His innocent self and was horrifically crucified for me. His blood, pure and unblemished was spilt for me. He then defeated death and rose to life 3 days later and asks me to follow Him into eternity. 🙌🏼♥️🙌🏼YES LORD!! I will follow you!!
My life is forever changed by His love. I want to shout it from the mountain tops!! JESUS LOVES ME!! HE CALLS ME WORTHY!! JESUS LOVES YOU TOO!! LETS WORSHIP HIM TOGETHER!!

As I was driving to pick up my daughter from babysitting last night, I started wondering, if today was my last day here on earth, did I make the most of it? Did I hug my family enough? Did I tell them I love them? Do they know it and will not question it in the future? Did I get to spend enough time with my husband? Did I help anyone in need? Did I remember to pray for everyone? Did I share the Word with someone? Have I done all that God has wanted me to do today?
I am going to have to stand before Him and account for all my choices. I KNOW I have screwed up way more times than I would care to admit. I miss my prompting to go and take the blanket to the homeless lady, give the call to the friend on my heart, add that extra ten bucks to the tip for the stressed out waitress. Those are the easy ones I have skipped. I have passed on the times the Holy Spirit has nudged me to go and share the word or pray with someone, mainly because I felt awkward and didn't want to look like a weirdo. I have missed times to love my husband because I was "too busy" doing things for others, when he SHOULD BE my MOST IMPORTANT. I have missed times when I was stressed & instead of spending time in His word for comfort and soul recharging, I wanted to watch a television show and veg, not think about anything. 😕 Ugh. I am a fail. I am sorry Lord.
So now I am about to pick my daughter up, in my mind I am still questioning, if today is my last day to be the hands and feet of Jesus, have I done what He has requested of me? Do I live to serve Him or myself? If I did serve, did I do so with a joyful heart or out of obligation? Did I serve the One who took the nails for me? Did I share His love the way He wanted me to today...any day He asked...?
Oh friend, make EVERY SINGLE DAY COUNT!! We have no clue when our last breath will come. We did not come with expiration dates. What we did come with, is the command from Jesus to love.💗✨Matthew 22:36-40 says"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”Love my neighbor as my own self-centered self. Live to love others. Die to myself and live for Him. Yes Lord, I will do better. For You have CHOSEN ME and I choose to serve You.Let's get this new day started!!I am here to serve!!!

Some days, all I want to do is crawl into my warm and toasty bed, snuggle under the covers and just spend time talking with The Lord. It is crazy out there! I swear the world has lost its morality. It's way out of control. So many people are so selfish and self centered, no one else matters. I do not want to be part of it. I just want to focus on Jesus. I want to stay here safe and warm under the covers...but then who will see my light? Who will see Jesus at work if I stay here safe? (Deep breath) My King took my sins, was beaten, whipped, spat on, humiliated and tortured for me. He took all that to the cross. He took the nails I deserve and died in my place.I am loved by Him beyond all that is fathomable. My safe place is not here under the covers. It is with Him...and He is with me always.Time to face the world.

As a Christian I know how broken I was when I gave my life to Jesus. I know I was granted GRACE & MERCY by my King, that which I did not deserve on any level.
Yet He WANTED me, with all my gashes and wounds from the enemy. Jesus took my soul, cleaned my wounds, healed my scars and washed me clean. With such a precious pure love He made me His.
If I truly accept His love how can I not reflect that on others to share with them the joy I have found in My Savior💕

Is that you today? Are you like the prodigal child, off on your own adventure not following the plan God has for you? We have ALL been there before. Some of us are there now. The Lord in His goodness knew we would falter, but He is so wonderful He already has a way for us to come back to Him! Weary sinner, THIS IS YOUR CALL to repentance!!
He is ALWAYS waiting for His children! He will NEVER turn you away. His arms are open wide for you! He say COME AS YOU ARE!! —

They desired only that we should remember the poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do. (Galatians 2:10)
G O O D works have a legitimate place in evangelism. When the Salvation Army first began, their message was
…so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men. (Titus 3:87-8)
I challenge you today, are you living out your faith and love to the “poor"? There are so many ministries out there that need help to reach the homeless, addicts, orphaned & foster children, elderly, wounded vets, prisoners, mentally challenged… If you are thinking, “I don’t have time…” Well you have time to scroll through social media right now… that time could be used for praying. Maybe your heart is called to serve, but you don’t know where to begin, call your church or e-mail me and I will do the research for you. Financial donations to these ministries can help bigger than you know. God is the God of the Universe, He can take 5 cents and multiply it into 5 million dollars. Is your heart willing?
"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40

“And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:11
This is a G R E A T announcement, JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, which came at a great cost. Jesus, the Son of God, came in the likeness of man to be a servant for God (Philippians 2:5-11). Jesus died on the cross for God. God made His creation, you and me, promises from Genesis to Revelation. In order for us to receive those promises we need to meet Jesus at the cross. Only through Jesus are we able to have access to God and His promises. “Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.”(Isaiah 45:22-23)
Are you, His church, built on His foundation? Matthew 16:18, Jesus tells us that the gates of Hell will not prevail against those who stand for Jesus. Are you standing for Him? Are you living His Word out loud, in the solitude of your quiet and in the crowds? Acts 4:11-12 declares that Jesus is the corner stone. There is no other name. No other way to have salvation, but by Him. +We are quickly approaching Resurrection Sunday. The day that Jesus Christ conquered death and rose again. Breaking the bondage of sin and setting us free. Friends, He is the only way to Heaven. You may not like hearing it, but it is the truth. My heart mourns for those who reject this truth and are setting themselves up for eternal condemnation. My heart mourns that those who reject this message are rejecting Jesus, who loves you with an ever lasting love. His heart wishes than none should perish but all have eternal life. The fact that you have read this message has left you accountable to what you will do with it. What will you do with Jesus?

It is one of those mornings that I wanted to stay bundled up in the covers. The sky was not yet awake and I thought, “why should I be?” But God in His faithfulness reminded me, if not now, when? In the chaos that is my life, the silent stillness in the dark of the morning is when I meet Him for coffee. He shares His Word, His promises, filling my soul while I refill my cup.
Today we fellowshipped in Matthew 10, revisiting my notes from yesterdays amazing service (listen HERE). But then He took me further, on to verses 38 and 39, “If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me you will find it.” How often are we called to give up things that hinder us from our walk but we don’t think we can or we just don’t want to. I have struggled with that and continue to. I just shared, I didn’t want to give up my cozy warm bed. But had I not gotten up I would not have been reminded of this promise - “IF YOU GIVE UP YOUR LIFE FOR ME YOU WILL FIND IT”. Jesus knows me better than anyone. He knows my heart, my desires, what drives me, and what I put before Him. He has stripped away a lot and humbled me to my knees more than once. In those moments I really was not sure I would ever recover. Even as I share this, there are circumstances taking place in my life that would once upon a time put me in a state of needing to breath into a brown paper bag.
In the midst of the overwhelming thoughts, as fear whispers in my ear and temptations make themselves known, this is what my Savior says, “DO NOT BE AFRAID the time will come when all will be revealed. DO NOT BE AFRAID those who want to destroy you can’t touch your soul” (Matthew 10:21-28).
If you have a heavy heart this am and the things before you are too much to bare on your own, give them to Jesus. He is waiting. If the enemy is telling you that you are unworthy or invisible, maybe he keeps throwing past choices in your face, give them to Jesus. He is waiting. If you invited Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior but have slipped away and been caught up in the world, since. Go back to Jesus. He is waiting. Put Him first and He will give you the strength that only comes from Him, to get through this temporary time.
Wear your proclamation of faith!
You can order this tee HERE.
We all have a choice, faith or fear... It is my hope that the Lord fills your cup today with an extra shot of faith and you will go forward ready to take on the day with your armor on and in a mindset of P R A I S E.
